Social Ministries - promotes and provides educational programs about the social needs of our congregation and the Fond du Lac area. They are active participants in Loaves and Fishes, the Fondy Food Pantry, Bethany House, and Tape Ministry.
An annual Thanksgiving Dinner organized by members of the Social Ministries Committee has been provided for the Fond du Lac community for about the last six years.
WHEELS OF FAITH
"WHEELS OF FAITH" was very recently named as the program of our van minisitry started in 2006 to provide transportation to and from worship for the elderly from near-by assisted living homes on a Sunday of each month.
In addition WHEELS OF FAITH now does offer limited transportation to those members who are unable to drive themselves to Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church for Sunday 8:00 a.m. services and the later service. Those members must be able to transfer into a car or SUV. Service is based on driver availability as a courtesy to our members without transportation.
"WHEELS OF FAITH" does offer lift bus service once a month to those members who are in wheelchairs or cannot transfer into a car or SUV.This service is offered on the following Sunday's:
- March 13, 2011 - 11:00 a.m.
- April 10, 2011 - 11:00 a.m.
- May 1, 2011 - 11:00 a.m.
- June 12, 2011 - 10:00 a.m.
- July 10, 2011 - 10:00 a.m.
- August 14, 2011 - 10:00 a.m.
